The Compassionate Friends

The Greater New Orleans Chapter meets monthly on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Lafreniere Park Foundation Center Conference Room, in Metairie, LA. New members may come at 6:45 pm. The Chapter also publishes a monthly newsletter. The Greater New Orleans Chapter hosts several events during the year. The events are the Butterfly release in April, the Children's Memorial Walk in October, and the Worldwide Candle Lighting in December. All events are held at the Children's Memorial Garden in Lafreniere Park.
